Colleen Ambrose, ND, MAT is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine; consultant in health, education, and research; writer; and proud alumna of New York University, Relay GSE, and Bastyr University. She received her Doctor of Naturopathic degree from Bastyr University in Seattle, a 4-year accredited program with training in primary care, botanical medicine, osteopathic manipulation, hydrotherapy, and homeopathy. She specializes in homeopathy, somatic work in relation to stored trauma within the body, biofeedback, and hydrotherapy. She believes in the innate healing power of the body and strives to support this by treating the root cause of the illness.

Dr. Ambrose works to increase access to health care for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ populations, and she believes that all body sizes deserve respect and excellent medical care. She has studied hydrotherapy in Germany and was awarded a grant to study sauna therapy in Finland. She has received additional education in the field of podiatry and strives to support the structural health of the foot and ankle, as well as the entire musculoskeletal system. She facilitates group and individual meditations and has taught beginner yoga with a focus on inclusivity to all body sizes. She is trained in facilitating family constellations, which is a method of addressing intergenerational trauma, chronic illnesses, and exploration of the inherited behavioral patterns that hold individuals back from living a deeply beautiful life on an emotional, physical, and spiritual level.
